Tbf, THT can potentially do what Caruso gives you, plus we got clear upgrades over Caruso in Nunn and Monk.

Is he making that leap next season? Cause if not they gonna be missing Caruso a lot next year. And not only that…Caruso’s defensive instincts and iq was off the charts. People only look at THT’s physical gifts but it takes more than that to be at the level Caruso was at. But hey I’m rooting for the young nikka…I just don’t think it’s realistic for nikkas to think he can step in and just give u what Caruso giving you

Caruso is a solid player but Lakers were not willing to go into deep luxury tax for a decent defender who is very limited on offense. Plus Lakers have to start worrying about the future too. THT could end up being nothing at all or something but the team and FO clearly believes in him. He's not on a bad contract either. In 2 years, it will be 2 guys left.

I don't know how those lineups performed but folks were complaining about Rondo's minutes during the regular season.. I'm sure those lineups struggled then. The bubble is a different story since Rondo was knocking down threes at a decent clip.. If Russ can shoot it like that then the spacing wouldn't be as much of an issue.
