Acuna supposedly comes up at the end of the week. Gotta decision to make in the outfield soon. Send Preston to the bench or try and deal Markakis at some point in the season. I like Markakis, though.

It's a good problem to have...you might see Acuna delayed until May 1 (the Stripers haven't seen alotta games yet because of the bad weather) so if we want to see what Preston really is over a month of beisbol and give Acuna some quality Triple A ABs, I might give it some more time. Plus we're playing well, no need to rush it. Long term tho yes Markakis should get dealt at the deadline, maybe for another reliever

Anyone getting reverse McCann/Freeman vibes from Albies? Meaning he’s the more unheralded of the two big rookies coming up, but ends up being the better player? Except he came up first. Of course we haven’t even seen Acuna yet, but Albies is looking like a potential top 3-5 2B in the league, especially if he keeps this power up

Not sure but until Acuna went nuts last year Albies was our top prospect. If he can end up being anywhere close to Altuve I'm happy.

I definitely agree with this. I think you meant Heyward/Freeman tho.

Nah, I meant McCann. Francoeur and Heyward were supposed to be the franchise players but McCann and Freeman came behind them and turned out to be a lot better. Obviously I hope that Acuna doesn’t end up underachieving like the former guys did, but I think Albies is gonna overachieve like the latter guys did.
