The Atlanta Braves may remain hopeful but Dansby Swanson’s spot on the team’s postseason roster seems to be in doubt. Swanson didn’t take any swings again on Monday according to MLB.com’s Mark Bowman and may be simply running out of time to be ready for the NLDS which is set to begin Thursday in Los Angeles.

Their was initially some optimism regarding Swanson’s availability when his wrist improved following a couple of days of treatment. However, he experienced discomfort while taking dry swings on Saturday and hasn’t swung a bat since.

Doesn't sound like Dansby is gonna go

Bit of a stunner from the Dodgers: Hyun-Jin Ryu, who has allowed 1 run in his last 19 innings, starts Game 1 of the NLDS on Thursday. Clayton Kershaw, who has allowed 8 runs in his last 11 innings, starts Game 2 on Friday. They each get five days' rest.

Been a fan since the 90s but the post Bobby Cox braves kinda made me lose my way. I hope they win it all this year.

As a braves fan in the 90s when we had the triplets, Pendleton, justice, blauser, & company I think I was spoiled because I expected playoffs every year. Definitely will be glued in come Thursday.

Yea Bravos are definitely the underdogs here, but I'm fine with that. How many times did the Braves have home field and the "better players" and still manage to lose? I'm cool with whatever happens, this has been one of my favorite Braves teams to watch the last 10-15 years

I agree. I like that they are great on the road, grind ABs, and are clutch in RISP and late innings. It is not out of the equation to make a sneaky World Series appearance if pitching can keep them in the game.

The problem is that I think getting the Dodgers so soon was probably the worst case scenario.
