We re-upped Flowers, hope we can get Suzuki back next year as well. I know Flowers is a "good ol boy" so he was gonna get taking care of.

I know y'all like to turn everything racial but this is a solid move. Neither he or Suzuki are great behind the plate but they get the job done. Plus you don't have a great catcher prospect in Gwinnett or anywhere else in the minors right now either. For 2 years, it's a bargain

Us resigning him had nothing to do with him being from Atlanta or Roswell. He's a solid vet, he's affordable and he has a good relationship with the staff. Saying he got a deal from a new GM because he's "a good ol boy" doesn't make sense

I know this sounds crazy but we need to move Acuña outta leadoff. We need his offense in the middle of the offense

He will end up in the middle of the order. I think right now the issue is his on base percentage is so much higher than the others who have batted leadoff this season. So Acuna currently gets to bat lead off AND get the most at bats.
