Agreed, as long as we don’t touch the farm. We’re well ahead of schedule but this is still year 1 of the ML rebuild. Nobody in our longterm plans besides Freeman has more than 2 years experience. I’m down to let the young guys work and take their lumps this year and sign Kimbrel in the offseason.
Problem is, Snitker is too old school to roll out a bunch of young guys. Our bullpen could easily be built like San Diego’s, which is one of the best in the league with almost all homegrown/made arms.
With that said, if we can get somebody who is not a rental that can fit longterm then yeah, make a move

Watch his next start he give up 5+ runs in 4 innings. He's not an ace IMO, Teheran is probably our 3 right now behind Newcomb and Folty, but he did pitch well tonight
