Stripers? They doing too much, and if I I didn’t know anything about the Braves organization, I’d think the ballclub was a Florida Marlins minor league squad.

These minor league teams need to be named after the parent or main ball club; ie, Gwinnett Braves, Rome Braves, Mississippi Braves, etc

Teams are intentionally getting away from this to give them their own identities and marketing. Dodgers, Cubs, and Red Sox only AAA teams with the same name as the big club.

@Kaedus is right. Most minor league teams have silly names, mascots to help fans in that region more easily identify with the affiliate club. Minor league teams are better off having kind of ridiculous names...smaller crowds, smaller towns, I'm cool with it
