I was heavy into that manga. I remember the whole marketing campaign in 07-08 leading up to the movie, with the mystery surrounding the crashed 'satellite'. These studios stay fukking up easy wins just to put out some mid.
Crazy right. Like the way they set that manga up, could've made a truly Lovecraftian universe already. And if I remember correctly people were going crazy over the lore and the clever shyt they stuck in that movie, but alas, guess I gotta download blender and rig my own giant monster movie until this sequel comes out lol

True but its gimmick was the found footage thing they did. Another sequel like that would have been whack. And if they do it without the gimmick it will just be a poor imitation of GodzillaWhat took them so fukking long, the original movie was crack...
