I mean if we gonna investigate, let's investigate ALL the crookedness going on.

1.Parents making their kids fail a grade on purpose to have an athletic advantage in sports.
2. People lying on resumes and having degrees to get jobs
3. People paying to have their grades changed from elementary all the way to medical and law school(OH IT HAPPENS)
4. bribing coaches to get their kids a spot on a sports team.
5. Creating fake degrees.
6. Lying about income to get scholarships

I mean it's so much fakeness and crooked politics going on, this scandal isn't even the half of it.

If you went to an Ivy League / elite university, this is NOT surprising at all.

I went to a top 10 school and some of the ditzy, entitled and wealthy students/colleagues I've interacted with would have you baffled about the pedigree of a world-class education.

Side-note: ... of course, USC is involved . Almost went there for undergrad.

This is a microcosm of how the world works...those with access utilize loopholes, while chastising everyone else for not "working hard."

My mom used to tell me that since I couldn't get a scholarship, maybe college wasn't for me. Meanwhile, these kids parents are buying their scholarships lol. Black people from older generations don't seem to understand how this system works. We can't move the way white people move, because they have all sorts of tricks that we don't have access to.

There's so much to glean from this situation. So many things wrong with this society, playing dirty tricks to get ahead, and they've fooled a lot of black people into believing everything is fair.

They say everything is fair in love and war. This world is a jungle man. If you're not doing anything and everything to give your kids a leg up in life, you ain't trying hard enough.

Now as black people, we don't have to cheat, but more effort should go towards the betterment of our kids.
