what's his agent doing? :mindblown:
I've heard he didn't want to be away from his family so far/long away with the way that they film GOT.

McNulty is on a BBC show now, that's kinda like Mad Men.

it's crazy how TV actors in great shows (The Wire, The Sopranos, etc) often disappear after the show ends. You'd think their resume alone would guarantee some solid work on other shyt.

The problem with tv casting is that sometimes when you have someone play a role so good for a while, they get typecast in that role and overlooked for future ones. That's why a lot of main actors on popular television shows you might not hear of them doing anything big after. Some take years doing smaller roles or getting out of the spotlight until they could make a comeback.

Anybody remember Namond and his mom on the Tyra Banks show?

Check out this quote I found in a interview of Snoop "Despite still living in Baltimore and putting a move to L.A. on hold, Snoop still insists The Wire will not be the biggest thing she ever does. “I mean, I’m going to make it bigger than that,” she tells Rolling Stone. I hope she’s right." :to:

They don't necessarily disappear but fans often unrealistically expect them to reach that level of success a second time. Which is virtually impossible....most actors don't get a role like Tony Soprano or Jesse Pinkman once in their life, so anything after that is seen as a fall off.

Wendell Pierce is the lead on Treme.

He's also on that new Michael J. Fox show. Best part of it too, in my opinion. He's been getting steady work for years. He's one of those actors you always see over the years. The same can be said for D'Angelo.

People also gotta keep in mind that this show in particular didn't do to well until later on.

And I'm watching Lance Reddikk on Fringe right now :obama:

And just got done watching this
