Yeah I disagree with your theory, plenty of stations that play classical, urban adult music, and etc and young people don't go to it. They seek out what they want to hear and show their preference, stations that cater to them then give them more of what they want or they think they want.

Old people who have different preferences typically forget the popular music of their day is typically viewed through the same lens as they view music of younger people. This can have those adults lash out and call the young stupid or other denigrating terms, instead of just realizing the young like something different than themselves, it isn't the end of the world and that it doesn't invalidate the artists they like.

Breh I like ALL music...Parlament...Roger Troutman..Al Green..Ol skool LL...Run DMC...Gibbs..Cole...TI...Kdot..im a music enthusiasts...and I have a great ear for music. Its not a bias of old and young...its I know bullshyt when I hear it...how? Because I was raised on it. Real composition of music. Todays hiphop is all fruity loops 5 minute beats under lyrics that took 10 mins to write. Your generation came uo on Soulija Boy and Laffy Taffy...songs that were force fed to the radio in efforts to stall out the successbthar hiphop had in the late 90s and also to dumb down its primary benefactors which was AA. So when I say repetitious bullshyt..thats becauae thats what it is. If you hear the same song 20 times a day l on the radio..regardless of how wack the song is..people will eventually start to accept it as a hit...becauae essentially they are told it is. Thats your generation...trash music that is low quality bullshyt that you all accept as good music becauae youve been programmed to believe it is. You nikkas aint breaking no molds with this same ol same ol..homo dancing ass bullshyt..they created a formula and becauae they dont let real artist in the game get exposure. What you like is irrelevant to my point. You having a great ear for music is subjective and not definitive at all.
You have a preference great it is your preference it isn't objective or the standard anyone has to meet though.
You don't like today's hip hop fine, don't listen to it.
Soulja Boy isn't my generation, I didn't come up listening to Laffy Taffy.
Again you are trying very hard to talk like your opinion is fact, it isn't, its your opinion and its your subjective preference.
Simple as that really.

Enjoy what you enjoy and be happy, but shytting on things and a generation because tastes of shifted won't make what you life become popular against and it definitely won't inspire the generation you are shytting on to suddenly want to give what you like a chance, its more likely to turn them off completely.

It was nice but Yatchy and his fans aren't into hiphop like this. Different era, Lupe warned us on dumb it down and Chamillionaire told us on his mixtape messiah series how corporate america was fukking up the rap game. We didn't listen.

There's a place for mumble rap, it definitely has an audience. It's more about the lack of knowledge more than the sound of the music. Yatchy is a target cause he keeps saying disrespectful stuff.
