Thread wouldn't be quite as weird if the longest recent thread about a black family wasn't full of spite for both parties in the marriage because a nice-guy Super Bowl-winning QB stepped up to provide a fatherly prescence to the other child of his super-talented, black, rich, in-shape wife/first-born's mother....
...and that was a guy who actually had a thread like this when he DID date a non-black woman....
....which, if you really pay attention, is a thread that doesn't get made if the Coli (and the community, really) collectively fukks with you (i.e. Kobe & MJ), so there's really no point in playing politics in things like this.
Folks would like to THINK they truly give a fukk, but they really don't.
Otherwise, we'd be seeing more black marriage reveals dominating this site (and our social media).
I think I'll read "married a chocolate sister" in threads like this more than I'll see a thread start with the OP glowingly illustrating someone doing it (pictures included.)
The real damage is the realization that a LOT of people come out of these thinking that well-to-do black celebs in black marriages are the minority, but we get a whole thread about
Malik Yoba to make a point the other way. Seems a bit backwards ,brehs.
