AHHHH i hated that game for that reason. I think i can remember all the dialog till you get out that damn city verbatum with how many times I had to do that shyt.

and then I made the mistake of getting the PC version of ff8 not knowing that PC ports of games were shytty back then. I got to the gates of the final boss and the game bugged out and I couldn't even play it anymore and then my harddrive got fukked up soon after and the save was lost. Still never beat that game.

I never tried the PC ports for games like that. Sounds like i didn't miss much

By the time I got a PC though it was straight Diablo and other non stimulating games

Hell the most challenging game i've played in terms of "thinking" was lazors on my sons Ipod.
