I gotta give a shout out to @Billy Ocean though

You tried to tell us breh :francis:

Breh, I actually liked AB cause he has a magnetic personality and has put out dope music but I thought he sounded like Ghost THE VERY FIRST TIME I HEARD HIM. I literally had the :francis: face every time somebody on here tried to claim he sounded nothing like Ghost. Like to me that's just absurd.

I see what you're saying but I really don't agree.

Bronson's album was great. People expected some typical rappity-rap-rap shyt and ended up butthurt. Leave that shyt to some Def Jux artist to drop on Soundcloud. Nobody wants to hear that. I found it light years ahead of what Ghost is doing. Bronson ain't deep but he's entertaining as hell and that's way more than I can say for Ghost and that extra whack 12 Reasons To Sleep 1 & 2 and Badbadnotgoodbutterrible garbage he's putting out. EVERYTHING he's doing is better than what Ghost is doing right now.

I wouldn't doubt for a second that Bronson might have respected and studied Ghostface. But apart from some vocal inflection and a gift for the abstract, they're vastly different artists right now. Bronson is funny comical music. Ghostface isn't remotely a funny rapper.

Bronson went the wrong direction going at Ghost, but he wasn't lying unfortunately.

Well thought out post. I agree with parts of it for sure.

I think my issue with it was that I thought the best joints on Bronson's album came out ahead of time, and that's unusual. So I was excited and then joints like Terry and Easy Rider ended up being better than a lot of what was on the album. IMHO at least. I just thought Bronson overexposed his music before the album a bit. He put out so many mixtapes in such a short time. Plus a lot of his mixtapes were more like albums, with original production and hooks, etc. So I almost didn't even consider Mr. Wonderful his first album. It's always hard to deliver on an album when you've done that, and he's hardly the first person to drop a "debut" album where people prefer the preceding mixtapes.

I do think he's an entertaining personality and I think he's different than Ghost in a lot of ways. I don't even think his flow is that similar. Some of Action's stuff makes me laugh and some of it seems a little try-hard to me. It find Ghost funny too. I don't think he really tries to be, but he's got a lot of unintentionally funny bars/skits/interviews and what not.

I never have passionately disliked Bronson but watching Ghost check him is enteratining and I can see why Ghost would do it. Action making those comments on TV was dumb.

Lol yo i kid u not, ghost cousin once told me to go through him to book ghost n that nikka looked puerto rican haha...

I aint know who the hell he was till someone put me onto who he was...

I aint with that violence shyt but word to my life, i never go around affiliates of wu members without me or my homies being strapped...i still cant believe i use to be in park hills projects without a weapon lol...

The wolves were waiting for the word.

Action is nervous for sure.

I hear you, bro. One of my main homies lived in Stapleton projects and some of the stories I would hear about them Wu dudes was just unbelievably wild. That camp is filled with a crazy amount of die hard retard goons.

What!? Light years ahead of what Ghost is doing?
Its your opinion and I respect that but can u tell me exactly what Action is doing that is so great?

He's funny, had good beats, and makes entertaining songs. That's all there is too it.

Ghost takes himself and his moody hood tales so damn seriously that it's a chore to listen to him now.

I like Action too but clearly when the smoke cleared dude wasnt rapping about shyt, not really any substance.

You're right. I don't listen to Action Bronson for substance. If I did, I'd be terribly disappointed.

So what is this shyt he is doing that is soooo great. Because really Mr Wonderful was garbage. Even ALC said it was wack in so many words

It was a breezy, fun, summer album. Not on some "kill em wit bars" shyt. Not some sick street classic. Alchemist is entitled to think whatever he likes, but quite frankly, he's always been rather hit or miss for me too.

Bravado ain't got nothing to do with it. Ghost let that nikka live and he took a shot. That's blasphemous.

:dahell:let him live¿

:dahell:blasphemous¿

man ghost one of my goats but he's taking it too seriously

to me all I see is a grumpy old nikka reaching for sum spotlight its not a good look

gawds don't concern themselves with any comments made by lessers
this's the type of shyt you should find humorous

but like I said some are programmed to seek petty conflict and find it entertaining
especially when the conflict is with a cac as you'd say
shyt pushes it over the edge

this shyt is corny*
