Cacs all in their feelings too about the threats Ghost handed out. Bytch, this is real hip hop, if you can't stand the heat..:demonic:, Caction is acting like he is about to crack. The internet is all fun and games and a safe place to be until the wolves run up on him in real life.

A lot of these posters owe you an apology. :sas2:
But knowing how they get down, they'd probably wait a few weeks and delete the apology :scust:
As if they beards don't catch fire

lol Ghost dropped like 3-4 projects in the last two years, and has been touring. Pretty impressive for an artist 20 years into his career, but I do understand that a lot of hip-hop fans seem to have a hard time appreciating stuff if it's not exactly what they want.
It be a bunch of nyggas who ain't been moderately successful at ANYTHING for a 3-5 year span talking about "so and so is washed". I get it. I don't respect it anymore, but I get it. Unfortunately hip-hop breeds that type of thinking.

of course hes touring. hes a legacy act.

theres plenty of legacy acts that i support myself, but im not gonna sit up here and expect something groundbreaking from a rapper that peaked 15-20 years ago and has kids that are about my age. thats just not realistic. and its one of the reasons why hip-hop has been stuck in neutral(and now going backwards) for over a decade now.

Let's stick to the truth:

1. Action was out of his line for his comment and should not have deleted his first Twitter apology.

2. Ghostface's reaction was over the top, but hilarious, and understandable, and made for a classic video.

3. Ghostface is NOT a "legacy act." He still averages one new album a year, and just a few years ago, he toured for 12 Reasons To Die, performing basically the whole album in concert, with a live band. He doesn't just coast off 20 year old songs.

3. Yes, Ghostface is not as good as he once was. BUT he's still dope, and is arguably as good, or better, than current Bronson.

4. Action's voice sounds like Ghostface's did in the 90's, but it's his actual voice, and there's nothing he can do about it. Also, Action and Ghost have different styles, personas, vocabularies and references. I don't see how a real hip hop head could confuse them.

5. This beef will have no effect on Action Bronson's career. First of all, beef rarely, if ever, affects rappers' careers. Ja Rule's career died because he oversaturated the market with shytty love songs, not because of 50 Cent. If beef affected rappers' careers, Canibus would ended LL Cool J's. Second, Action has apologized several times since Ghost put up the video, and has consistently given Ghost praise, aside from his one arrogant comment. This board has a fiery hatred of white rappers, and white people in general. Everyone shytting on Action now was shytting on him before. This beef gave the people who always hated Action some ammo, but he's not losing any real fans.

Saw this in another thread. Early early Action Bronson. Notice that he doesn't sound like Ghost at all. If anything he sounds more like Meyhem Lauren. You'll also notice the obvious n bombs.

stupid nikkas like: "He can't help his voice!" :damn:Instead of recognizing the obvious.

Bronson bit Ghost period. Consciously. You can have a similar voice to another cat without sounding like them if that's where it ends. But if you pattern your phrasing, cadence and overall approach to reflect another nikka, you're obviously biting. And only an idiot or hip hop newb would argue otherwise.

Bronson's had the same voice, but obviously this track doesn't sound like Ghost. The known stuff afterward: 100% Ghost. Just shyttier and without an ounce of soul

You started to lose me around 4 and went completely left field on 5.

First off, in addition to having the same voice, which in and of itself isn't a deal breaker, the guy does the same stream of consciousness/street raps as early Ghost. The same vocal inflections, the same humor. He named an album "Rare Chandeliers" for Christ sake. Tell me that don't sound like a Ghost album. I don't see how a real hip hop head wouldn't confuse them.

Secondly, you're talking about Ja, 50, LL, Canibus....those were mainstream rappers. He's an underground, B-C tier rapper with a small fan base as is, and you're saying this won't have any affect on his career? :what:

A decent chunk of Action Bronson's fans are Wu fans, for obvious reasons. Those guys are probably gone now. Others were indifferent to him sounding like Ghost, because Ghost himself didn't have a problem with it. Again, that's now over.

If this was Drake or Future I could understand saying "it won't affect their career" because there's basically zero overlap between their fan bases and Ghost....but it's not. It's a guy that made a career sounding exactly like him.

Fred.
