How they gon remake a movie based off a character that maybe only one person in the world can play. Ace is Jim Carey. No one else can play that role. Just make it a new pet detective named someone else. Major League and Exorcist I ain't mad at tbh.

Basically. I'm not mad at any of them just perplexed by the Ace thing. Unless you're getting Jim Carrey to play Ace again, it seems like a swing and a miss. That character wasn't on the page, half of the shyt was improvised

I just get flashbacks of Jamie Kennedy tryna be son of the mask and those 2 idiots in dumb and dumberer and I know this can't be good. Jim ain't that old. Bring him back for a 4th one.

Truth be told, you could keep making Major League flicks for eternity because a sports movie will never go out of style and an underdog sports tale definitely never goes out of style and they've been trying to do a proper major league sequel for years now. That one doesn't befuddle me but doing an Ace remake does because I don't see how you do it without Ace?

Preciate the answer on the dolphin. Remember almost all the scenes but drew a blank as to what was the purpose after the initial introduction of Ace to the Dolphins. To lazy to look it up and cant watch the movie right now.

I gave Dumb and Dumberer a chance so why not.

Exorcist hasn't been remade but it's had several sequels and two prequels

The 3rd Exorcist movie is kinda dope. I need one of my horror brehs to back me up: @Tuaminator @Prodigal Syndicate

The prequels are interesting though because they made one movie with Paul Schrader (guy who wrote Taxi Driver and other Scorsese flicks) and then they thought his wasn't what they wanted so they brought in Renny Harlin (he of Die Hard 2, Nightmare on Elm st 4 and the long kiss goodnight) so they have two movies: Dominion: the exorcist prequel and Exorcist the beginning

Truth be told it's been a long time and I'm just going off memory. For all I know, I'm not even remember them and could be some other flicks... I'll peep them in October when I do my horror movie/a day thing.

The Renny one sounds promising...DH 2 is one of my faves in the series and so is Dream Master.

Part 3 Is damn good film, having the sequel attachment kind of held it back, thanks to the awful heretic.
