Band of Brothers is such a great series, I need to carve out some time to watch it again. The Pacific was ok, not as good IMO. Followed too many people individually and you kinda lost the feeling that you were in it with the unit. Generation Kill was shyt. @Bryan Danielson is an out and out terrible person.

I never saw The Pacific.

I got the book on Generation Kill (cant recall how I got it, maybe had to read it for school or some shyt) I thought it was straight, then saw the movie.

I'm a good person and a great man:francis:

I expected the same cinematic experience and tone as the other two series but was sorely disappointed. That's a patently false statement and you should be ashamed.

BoB soundtrack is partly what drew me in, but following their journey til the end of the war was interesting. Generation Kill just didn't feel right. I stuck with it just because. I think more than anything, I was just trying to get through some more HBO miniseries.

Rolled my eyes at the holocaust episode. The holocaust gets too much focus in Western media yet they never talk about the Congo holocaust. Guess black people suffering is okay?
