I don't agree with abortion, I just support the right to abortion because I can't currently square an argument against bodily autonomy and if I'm for improving overall well-being, I track mortality and outcomes to the point to where is suggests that abortion being banned leads to worse outcomes.

Main issue, is that both sides come in with extreme biases, whether its wanting to control women, appealing to biblical stuff, being a woman, w/e. I only care for the truth, what is logical, and what is most consistently possible for us as humans.

I agree with that. And I actually support the right to abort as well. My issue is the notion that abortions are mainly done for the 3% listed, when in reality it is just personal/irresponsible choices that make up the huge majority of abortions. That is all.

It's not an argument people should use, tbh. I see it as more of a scare tactic, it's just like the death penalty thing. The point is to get the person to empathize with the woman who has been raped or the innocent man on death row, but if someone bites the bullet (they can just lie) and says they don't care and would be fine being subjected to their position, then the argument crumbles. The bodily autonomy argument is what most should stick to, it's the strongest position I can think of, and it doesn't rely on empathy, which varies from person to person. It also highlights contradictions in the average pro-abortion position and the anti-abortion position.
