Reasons for abortion.
With the whole Roe vs. Wade majority of people speaking out are using health danger, incest and rape as talking points.

But according to the CDC and Guttmacher Institute surveys,

  • 0.5% of abortions are due to incest and rape
  • 3% of abortions are due to fetal health issues
  • 4% of abortions are due to mother health issues
  • The rest are personal reasons (career, finances, not ready, partner etc...)

So we can act like it's all based on health and violence etc, but in reality abortions are mainly used to rescue people from irresponsible choices.

Also black women are 4 times more likely to have an abortion than white women. And to me that is the best way to eliminate the black family.

White Evangelical Republican bytches will fukk raw, get pregnant, go to the doctor to get "the baby" scraped out their uterus and have it put down as a Dilation and Curettage instead of what it really was. They not pro life they're pro lie

No...keeping black people in perpetual poverty and strife is. Life is not a 'Good Times' sitcom where you pop out as many kids as possible and hope a couple are smart enough to get the whole family out of the ghetto.

Having children outside of wedlock has done more harm to black families.

Let’s say in an alternate reality Nick Cannon had 4 women pregnant at the same time but in this alternate reality, he was poor.

What, in that scenario would be worse for black families? 4 children born out of wedlock to a poor father who has the intention to impregnate more women or those women choosing to reject continued attachment to that man, who clearly has psychological problems?

And those 0.5% of rape cases are enough to make it a legal option for a woman to decide.

Abortion is not the issue of creating black families. Education, health, poverty, drug abuse and gun crime is an issue with living black folk which is more of an assessable issue.

We need more couples.... More married couples having children. Married people have a much better shot.

I don't know any stats on this but I seriously doubt that most black women that had abortions would've been bringing their baby into a situation that could genuinely be called a family.

I really don't get why some black people are so eager to have more children be born out of wedlock when we're all aware of the situation they're most likely going to be born into, and the effect that people born in that situation generally have on black communities.

If you're really interested in protecting the black family stop trying to control the bodies of women you'd refer to as irresponsible and forcing them to reproduce and instead focus your time on things that will actually improve black communities like education and infrastructure.

And there has to be a foundation to make that shyt work. Society has a bunch of things right now that make coupling, especially if you come from a low-income background, stressful. Education, safe neighborhoods, and a feeling that you can actually relax in your own skin will go way further than forcing people who don't want kids to have kids. This isn't just abortion: people on the right are going for anything related to contraception as well. You basically are saying you are ok with the option being taken from people on the off chance that suddenly families will be stronger and we will "rise above" or some crap.

That isn't reality. Give people good living conditions and they are more apt to do it. I am in a very good position in life and guess what? Don't want kids. Why? At any time my good position can turn bad. My girlfriend and I combine for over 6 figures after taxes and I still see how things can go. Relieve that pressure and bam, another black middle class family is made. Till then, FOH.

Just remember, there is a vocal section of "Get our numbers up" who don't care if it means actual productive, well adjusted people. Just flood the system with more kids and justify it with some "One of them might cure cancer" ass foolishness.
