This was a free agency play. This ain't Rosenhaus' first rodeo with a "diva" WR. AB played the TO playbook with the right FO that would hate the tactics to the point they'd let him free.

If he hits all of those bonuses he'll get a contract offer in the same range that got cancelled if he plays the model citizen in front of the camera for a season. He could be a nutcase behind the scene and it'll never get out while he's in NE.

I personally think Ab talented enough too pull this off. But what you mentioned is a legitimate concern not just learning the playbook; but is AB going to be disciplined to run the right routes. Jason McCourty from the Patriots mentioned during AB top 100 That AB can run all the routes but freestyles a lot; Carson Palmer brought this up as well this morning, mentioning that Brady likes his Wr to run their routes with precision.
