I think AB did not want to play for the Raiders once he got there and let the organization know through his actions. His agent was probably in contact with the Patriots the whole time and told AB about that possibility.

Ireland are a better coached team and have been through ups and downs with the same core players, same goes for England. Where South Africa has an advantage is that if England or Ireland gets an injury they have no world class back up players.

Most players know that playing for Patriots gives them best chance at a SB run. And for receiver he gets to play with Brady! A known winner and will get the ball to them. Its tough for other teams to compete with that allure
