I think this is confirmation that Sony's spinoff movies will never be considered canon in the MCU. I had hoped their might be a crossover at some point. Now i doubt even spiderman will make an appearance in any of these movies. at least not until the deal with disney is over

Your right...I hadnt looked at that but thats probably the biggest news we get from this casting. If Feige was vetting Leto for a role (i forget which one) that clearly means he has no intention on crossing Morbius into the MCU

Sony still got that contract from marvel from way back... they not gonna give up those movie rights so easy....they gonna use it forever OR charge disney out the ass to get it back..

I think Marvel jumped the gun after the DCEU was announced. They needed a spark and adding Spider-Man was really the only logical choice.

unfortunately the nailed the casting. Who knew WB would fukk up so much. Who knew Fox would fukk up X-Men to the point they would give the rights back.


If I were Feige, I would end Spider-Man in the MCU and move on. Sony has been riding Marvels coattails and trying to take credit for it all.

Spiderman seems to have a big enough rogues gallery, that the MCU will still get alot of his cool characters.
I mean we already got Vulture, Shocker, Scorpion*(asterix because he hasn't powered up yet) and Mysterio. Looks like there will be a bunch of other classic villain's in the next Spiderman movie too. and they still got the rights to Kingpin too
Would've liked to have seen Mobius and Blade cross paths though.

Yeah, it doesn’t matter, none of spider mans villains do anything on a grand scale except venom. All them other dudes is whatever.
This casting is these Sony movies are ones I watch in the background while I’m doing other shyt.
