-Ted Thompson is just useless. He's never done anything of note, and has kept his job because of Rodgers.

So there was Jennings, a Viking himself in 2013. He could tell Packers receivers were scared just to say hello with Rodgers likely hyperanalyzing their every move from afar. To him, that's sad. It shouldn't be like this. He sees the relationship Brady has cultivated with Julian Edelman, with all of his receivers, and says, "Everyone wants that." Those two spend time together off the field, and it carries into what matters on the field. Brady builds bonds for life, and that can be the difference between division titles and Super Bowls.

I never understood the line of thinking that GB should have had a dynasty because they have Aaron Rodgers.

How many elite QBs who’ve played in Rodgers’ era have won multiple rings? Brady, Peyton Manning, and Roethlisberger. That’s it. Brees, Favre, and Wilson only have one and one of those guys is in the HoF while another is a virtual lock. Luck, Newton, Romo, Stafford, Ryan, and McNabb have all been widely considered to be top QBs (maybe not necessarily elite, but still…) and they’ve never won any.

Just getting to a Super Bowl, let alone winning the damn thing, is hard and requires a lot to go right for your team, even if you have an elite QB. That Eli Manning, Joe Flacco, and Nick Foles have all won SBs shows that. The Patriots are the only team out of 32 to make it to the SB with any regularity and they’re a ridiculous anomaly that defies convention.
