I don't think he lied, but his word choice was particular on purpose. Probably thought he was immune because he had already caught Covid, but that naturaly immunity wears off. Same with the vaccine, thus booster shots.
No bro. He lied. He didn't think he was immune. He just knew that nobody would question his integrity.

Until he got caught.

He didn't have to provide proof to the team that he was vaccinated? They just took his word for it?

Nah, the team definitely knew he wasn't vaxxed. They just kept it hidden and just said that like 90% of the players have been fully vaxxed.

Plus, remember, he was away from the team the entire offseason since the NFC Title Game... they begged him to come back and have been accommodating him and getting his input on personnel decisions now... they are doing all they can to be and stay on his good side.

no he would need a negative test, which would still be a possibility ahead of Sunday if he was vaccinated

if you test positive and not vaccinated, its like 10 days out regardless of future tests
So an unvaccinated player could test negative and still be ineligible, but if a vaccinated player test is negative, they can play?
