Jordan Rodgers took his feud with older brother Aaron to a new level, just in time for the holidays.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, the SEC analyst called out the Packers quarterback’s earnestness, after Aaron pledged to donate $1 million to help in the recovery efforts for the California wildfires.
“PLEASE DONATE, SPREAD AWARENESS & SEND LOVE,” Jordan, 30, tweeted. “But when your own Mom is home alone during the fires, car packed ready to evacuate, & you miss the fundamental first step of compassion; calling your parents to make sure they are safe … Everything else just feels like an act.”
As both Rodgers boys reference, their family is from the Northern California area that has been ravaged by wildfires. This is perhaps the most serious accusation that has been publicized in the ugly family feud.
Aaron, 34, has long been estranged from his immediate family, with the Rodgerses’ dirty laundry becoming a plot line on Season 12 of “The Bachelorette” in 2016. Jordan competed on the ABC reality series, ultimately getting engaged to the titular star, JoJo Fletcher. The family’s feud appeared to intensify in early 2017, when patriarch Ed Rodgers spoke with the New York Times.
“Aaron still hasn’t been in contact with his family,” a source told Us Weekly in June 2017. “His mom, Darla, has reached out to him multiple times in the last few months, but hasn’t heard back from him.”
With Green Bay off on Thanksgiving, Aaron may opt to spend the holiday with girlfriend Danica Patrick. The pair has been together for about a year.
