The fact that it's a debate what the better dunks were between a contest from 2000 and 2016 is a testament to Vince Carters greatness as a dunker.

The farther you go back the easier it is to do shyt in the dunk contest. Once stuff is already done you look semi-bad for doing it again, which is why guys are always going all out doing crazy prop shyt as there's already been so much shyt done. The fact AG/Lavine had such a great dunk contest in 2016 with almost every other year being complete shyt is a testament to their ability.

Might agree if he was a shorter player. That dunk wasn't as hard to pull off for a ngga as long as him...wit that wingspan...

Far as VC versus AG...I was a firm believer in VC bein the greatest dunk contest dunker of all-time... TIL Gordon came thru and crushed the buildins...He arguably pulled off 2/3 hardest dunk contest dunks of all-time while under-pressure... VC can still keep the title of Best All-time in-game" dunker...but IMO he wasn't fukkin wit Gordon (on that night at least). Lavine would've gave him a run for his money as well...and he ultimately won the contest.
