HHR/danja you have a record for this handy? that has to be the worst with a min of 50 IP, i mean damn you cant even fools cats on a pitchers count :russ:

@ laya, thats about 60% less than the average K per 9IP rate, i dont even know what to equate it too. it doesnt mean hes a wack pitcher (he does happen to be a wack pitcher tho) but it makes it hard on yourself when you cant get SO here and there

...sorry about that...his K/9 of .81 is BY FAR the lowest in baseball....and BY FAR the lowest in the last 50+ years. By almost 70%....second lowest is Jim Kaat in 1981, at 1.36.

The lowest ever probably belongs to someone with a name like Don "Droop Face" Jamison from 1908 who threw a 76MPH fastball, had no secondary pitches and was only brought in to face people who were bunting.
