His niece and R Kelly chose to do more than that. If the shyt was just about music then her ass should’ve been in the studio, doing shows, appearances and back home. Moms and pops could’ve always kept her in their sights.

They knew what they were getting into because they knew the industry. Barry has been in the business since the 70s, so this shyt wasn’t new to him. Dude could’ve gotten ANYONE else to produce Aaliyah records but he was R Kelly’s manager and could get vocal production, songs and production from one dude instead of hiring a team and paying them.
