We have two different interpretations of that statement. I see it as him saying don't expect any rookie to help you win playoff games unless they're polished with years of experience like Tim Duncan was. Hence the reason he brought up Paschall even being a surprise."When you're talking win now, for us, you're talking about win now in the playoffs"
And that's EXACTLY what I've been talking about this whole damn time, and why Wiseman on this team makes the least amount of sense.

Peep his last paragraph in the text of that article above.
Damn this is going to he a great debate on draft night. A week from today we gon re-visit this....I read all that.
His point revolves around what seniors bring through their experience (it's why he brought up Paschall), which if we're taking what he says at surface value, would tell me Wiseman is the furthest thing from what the Warriors are looking for. He's literally the most inexperienced player in the lottery. It's just another reason why he makes the least amount of sense for this team.
@Gil Scott-Heroin who do u want Warriors to draft, again?
Because at the end of the day, the most like-minded, best-fitting, ready-made players are going to maximize this team's dwindling championship window. A 19-year-old traditional center who's only played a handful of games out of HS is quite literally the antithesis to that.Ideally, I'd like to see the Warriors trade the pick for an established star or depth, or trading down for depth. However, if neither of those ends up being an avenue they take, and they have to use the #2 pick, Edwards or Deni look like the most suitable candidates to help this team in the immediate future.
