Based on the little bit that I have watched Jessup, I'd love to have him coming off the bench. Not a complete loss on defense and his shooting (IMO) could get better depending on who else he's on the floor with (spacing reasons).
That said, I've been checking out the reddit and I'm not sure he ends up with us next year unless he's a monster in the Summer League.
Draft prospects can't wait to see 'what happens next' for Warriors' pick Justinian Jessup
And here's a good piece that outlines how Jessup's situation would have to play out (basically he'd have to be signed to the team, not on a 2-way):

“He’s a little shy, but he’s a great dude,” Derrick Alston Jr. said of Jessup on Thursday. “… He’s excited to get here for summer league and see what happens next.”
Golden State, which also had a six-player workout Monday, is expected to continue to bring in fringe prospects until the June 22 draft lottery and player representatives know exactly when the Warriors are selecting.
After taking James Wiseman No. 2 and Nico Mannion No. 48, the Warriors settled on Jessup with the 51st pick in the 2020 draft — knowing that they could stash him overseas.
The franchise didn’t want to make the selection, but there were no solid trade offers that late in the draft. Of the final nine picks after Jessup, only three played a second in the NBA during the 2020-21 season and only Houston’s Kenyon Martin Jr. averaged more than eight minutes per game.
Jessup was so surprisingly good at one point of the season that Warriors general manager Bob Myers said the Boise State alum will get at least a chance in the 2021 Las Vegas Summer League.
The Warriors hadn’t previously planned for Jessup to be in the states until 2022, if ever.
The chances of Jessup and Alston playing for the Warriors is astronomical. Or, as Alston put it: “It would definitely be crazy.”
