This is the same question I have asked several times now and can't get a good answer for (in general, not of @Don Homer).

Who do we trade for that:

* Is a difference maker?
* Will be as strong defensively as Wiggs has been?
* Is a legit option for trade?

I'm working on the assumption that Klay will be close to normal but Wiggins as option 3/4 seems pretty good to me (like I said before, his salary isn't a problem for me). Who would we get in return that is better?

Name names y'all...
To me Wiggins is the perfect third option. Can occasionally drop 20 but isn't depended on to do it every night. Provides solid defense. At this point I think that's what he's meant to be. If I'm the Warriors I'd want to take a look at what the team looks like healthy before any big trades, that Wiseman injury fukks things up big time. I was really interested in what he'd look like with a full offseason training program.

I personally would keep Wiseman but would understand trading him. If so I'd package him and the pick for either a floor spacing big or a rim protecting agile big.

If I’m the warriors, I’d start filling the bench with shooters and defense. Keep JTA, might scoop up James Johnson or ariza as our resident goon in FA, along with a reliable guard like ish Smith. Chriss will likely get a second shot on the team.

FA is gonna be pretty trash this off-season, especially for shooters, so we will have to conduct some trades. For who? Idk to be sure, especially with how the cap space is for the dubs. Terrence Ross?

HOT TAKE: Warriors (if they keep their pick) are gonna draft this dude

18 year old 6’8 200lb PG cac from Australia avergaging 11/7/7. Josh Giddey

that's not bad at all :leon:

Brogdon is a high IQ player that plays defense and can play both PG and SG. He can also hit the 3 and is a decent passer

Turner can shoot a bit and get blocks:obama:

feels like pacers are going to blow it up anyways so they might jump at that

Disclaimer: I'm not sure what our options are with Oubre since he's a FA. Also, since we're over the cap/apron, not sure how the TPE works out.

That said, I would not be surprised if this trade or some iteration of it is what happens.

I think that's way too much to give up for Brog/Turner though. I haven't watched too much of MT, BUT....Look at his stats through 6 seasons and compare them to JW's FIRST season.

:takedat:

And don't forget, we've got another shooter coming...and he can handle the ball without losing it. He'll be off the bench, but I have no doubt he's going to help.

My only problem with that is I wouldn't see the Pacers doing it necessarily. They already struggle with finding ways to pair Turner and Sabonis and make them work together. Wiseman and Sabonis together would even be more of a mismatch together and would leave the lane clogged for Sabonis, and trading him later would be hard since they would have to wait six months before they could package him with another player and it would be hard to get value back for Wiseman at his salary level to trade him straight up.

oubre signs with a team, we ask the team to make it a sign and trade. If they agree, we send them a 2nd round pick or 2, we receive a tpe. The only time there’s a hard cap in the nba is if a team receives a player in a sign and trade, so we can freely use the tpe (we’d get taxed as much as if we kept oubre)

as of right now Myles turners is miles better than wiseman. Stats don’t always tell the full picture. 99.99999999999999999% wiseman nor min’s pick, will ever be anywhere near as good of player as Steph is now. Which is why he needs to go in order to get Steph some help (contend for 3 years vs being meh in wiseman’s prime) So we trade his potential (and the likely 7th/8th pick) for a floor spacing premiere rim protecter; and for baby iguodala with a jumper

I meant re-route as in add another team to the trade. This deal could also happen if IND is looking to start over

How confident do you guys feel against the Jazz in a playoff matchup?
I think we have a 30% chance at best. Fully healthy the Jazz are a much better team. Steph would need to go nuclear for 4 games and I don’t see how the Jazz or any playoff team for that matter would let that happen. He’ll go off for a game or two but I can see teams quickly shifting to a box and one to stop him.
