Draymond fouling out is the only reason the Warriors won the game. :scust:
The Warriors were down 91-100.

Draymond checks in; Wiseman exits.

Draymond then proceeds to score/assist on 11 points over the next few minutes bringing the game to within two points before he ended up fouling out. Every single lineup he was in had a positive net rating; nearly every single lineup Wiseman was in had a negative one. Draymond was one of the main reasons why Warriors got back into the contest, despite Wiseman's best efforts to drown all that.

This is just another case of one of your agendas not matching up with reality.

everyone was selling. Everyone. Yet, the first trade in the draft didn't happen til pick #17. Everyone was listening to offers, but nobody outside of the Celtics entertained the idea of moving up (and no, they weren't offering Smart just in case you ask. They just wanted to pawn off their picks).
Myers made it known after the draft they were all-in on Wiseman; they didn't send out lines to trade the pick in a package. If they did, they would've got an appropriate package that best suited the needs of the team. Not mortgaging whatever's last of their window on a project, that's turned out worse than anyone could have ever imagined.
You wanted Deni Avdija, a guy with a worse PER and just as bad on every advanced metric you can find. Your only real argument is that they were fukked no matter what. If someone leapfrogged them to take Wiseman, they woulda just took statistically the worst player in this class so far. That's your only argument.
I was waiting for you to play this card.

I said from the very beginning I wanted them to trade the pick for depth, for established players that can contribute immediately. If they had to draft a player, they needed to draft someone like Deni, Haliburton etc; players who fit their identity and the direction of the league. The ironic thing about all this is, they could've added depth as well as drafting down to get Deni. Any option would've been better than drafting Wiseman. Any.

Deni's PER and advanced metrics are what they are because the Wizards are bad. I mean, the fact you're bringing up PER suggests to me you aren't even watching Wizards games to have an educated opionion on what's happening with them. Have you seen Wiseman's advanced metrics?

He single-handedly kills all the good. Do you know how bad you have to be to drown lineups with Steph like that?

The team in front of them did and nothing happened. You can't dance around this fact. If Golden State was picking first, I'd understand, but they weren't. They were looking for the same thing most teams in the lotto wanted. Thus, no deals wound up being made.

and I'm telling you the "trade for depth" option wasn't there.

and obviously I've seen Wiseman's metrics. They're not much worse than Avdija's.

Put it to you like this:

Boston offers you 14, 26 30, Langford, and Grant Williams for #2 and Paschall to make it fun. Are you taking that deal? Keep in mind, you miss out on Haliburton, Avdija, etc.
