The warriors can apply for a dpe which they should get and get an injury exemption for 9.5 million. This will allow them to sign another Guard

If y’all could make a decision on what to do this year, would you tank, or try and go for it all?

Tank:
2021 is fitting to be a deep draft, so the potential of two lottery picks is enticing for the future, or as trade bait for another star.

Contend:
The warriors have some money to make some key moves to steer the ship in the right direction, and possibly try for a chip, just some deals have to be made

What do you do? I say try and contend

You try and contend. Warriors had the worst record and only got the 2nd pick. They could tank and end up with the 6th or 7th pick next year which they could already have from the Minny pick.

Y'all nikkas doom and gloom and I get it but....I saw nikkas saying the Clippers were the favorites to win the chip last season because they had Kawhi and PG.

Steph is more impactful than Kawhi and if we wanna keep it real:

Wiggins last year: 21.8 ppg/5.1 rpg/ 3.7 apg/1 bpg/0.8 spg

PG last year: 21.5 ppg/ 5.7 rpg/ 3.9 apg/ 0.4 bpg/ 1.4 spg

The difference is mainly in efficiency as PG is a better shooter. But I expect Wiggins to improve somewhat this season in that area.

Besides that the difference was depth which the Warriors can still add.

Also Jamal Murray sliced and diced Kawhi and PG's "elite defense" up and Jamal Murray is not Steph Curry.

If Bob does his job the season ain't over. It's just a much harder path.

That wasn't gonna be the main roster before Klay got hurt so I don't know why y'all suddenly think the roster is gonna stay the same now.

And with Klay all you had to do was add a few role players. Without Klay there’s a giant two-way, 2nd or 3rd greatest shooter ever sized hole in the roster

Asking Klay to comeback and be the same player he was aint fair to him

He suffered the two worse injuries to both legs

And with Klay all you had to do was add a few role players

You turn it into a contender by adding vets and and solid players and hoping your younger guys step up.

Y'all keep acting like next season is a regular season. KD and Kyrie both coming off injuries too and playing on a new team with a new coach.

Lakers integrating new players and Bron 36 and gonna be loading managing.

Clips a mess

A Wiggins lead Warriors team blew out the Nuggets last season.

No one knows what the Bucks are

Houston is a mess

Mavs are in good contention but KP injured too and ain't playing till late January at the earliest.

All this and the season is condensed and starts sooner.

There were no guarantees Klay was gonna be "Klay" to start the season anyway. You were always gonna have to build a roster that could support the potential that he's wouldn't be himself early on.

The plan should be to just try their best and see what happens because you can't account for injuries, teams choking, or a trade at the deadline.
