I don't doubt this team will compete - they busted their ass last season. The issue is the offensive help alongside Steph. At the moment, all they have is Wiggins and he isn't the greatest floor spacer. Without Klay, there are no other shooting threats on this squad. Myers will have to work his magic to get some shooters on this roster, or defenses are going to throw the kitchen sink at Steph.

I can't believe Danny Ainge tried to offer Marcus Smart for the 2nd Pick smh. I would love to have Smart on the squad but for the 2nd Pick tho? Hell no, hopefully Bob Myers hung up on that man

Smart has top-5 defensive impact, is a solid shooter and a competent playmaker. He's essentially a 26-year-old Warriors version of Iggy. For this team, he was worth a #2 pick to trade down to #14, well, that was until Klay got injured. Whoever they drafted at #2 was not going to provide the same impact that Smart would over the next 1-2 seasons.I can't believe Danny Ainge tried to offer Marcus Smart for the 2nd Pick smh. It's inconsequential now since Smart on this team doesn't make sense without Klay.

Myers will have to get creative.
This team now has the worst shooting corp in the league - a strange thing to say considering they have the greatest shooter of all-time.
This another wash year for me, and I’m completely fine with it 
* don’t rush Klay so he can fully recover
* everybody of significance will be under contract the year after
.* another time to showcase our rookies and sophomores, so they’ll be game seasoned
* even with the West stacked, we’re damn sure still a top 10 play-in contender. But I wouldn’t mind if we tanked for two potential lottery picks either with our pick and the wolves pick
* yes the stars get a year older, but besides dray, they all have intangibles that project them to have a long and productive career, and I expect them to produce
Sidenote: Anyone agree that 2021 free agency is gonna be very underwhelming outside of the giannis sweepstakes?

I can honestly see them phasing Draymond out for Eric. I kinda feel like they're getting to being fed up with Draymond.
