A turning point in "console" gaming is on the horizon.

Something about streaming a game directly thru the tv seems ass.

To be honest this has been in the works for years. Samsung TV has been partnering with Xbox for years and wanted to stream games for a while now.

With the world's most popular TV brand, I wonder how this will pan out?

I would try it if it dropped on my LG tv. If only to see the novelty of it.

Don't see it replacing consoles at all. Hell Mobile Gaming is bigger than everything right now.

It’s never been done “right”

PSnow never had current compelling games to make it worth the subscription. Stadia was weird, expensive and still missing stuff.

Gamepass is an easy buy for almost anyone who has an even remote interest in games. Kinda the reason mobile gaming has taken off the way it has.

Having gamepass built into my pocket, with a phone or stick is pretty amazing.

Or even just opening a app and signing in on the TV and starting to play.


I will say when Xbox said play your way they really meant it.

I stream gamepass games sometimes to try them out before downloading, it never looks as good as downloading the game shyt looks like a bootleg version, some look ok. Latency is never an issue tho.

I’ve only had one good experience with Game Pass streaming (at the airport) but if they made it so I can play my entire library on my iPad
