This album always brings me back to 2016/2017.

What was dope about this album was we were all caught off guard by it. Phife's death was horrible and there was nothing indicating that there was an album coming. Everybody was able to keep this secret for months, then Q-Tip wrote that letter.

I'm glad Phife and Q-Tip were able to mend their differences so they could make this. And for the chemistry to be that good after 18 years. They really put everything they had into this album.

even jarobi was surprisingly good as a rapper, and I wasn't expecting that at all.

I dunno. the first phife album back in like 1998 was pretty bad. so I'm skeptical. I never thought he was strong enough as a rapper to carry an entire album by himself.
