I'm on my 2nd listen and so far I like it. I'm not into judging albums off a couple of listens. I need to give it a few more spins before I can see where I rate it amongst the rest of the catalog but just getting a new Tribe album in 2016 is a win. Tribe and De La to me are the equivalent of what I guess the Beatles and Rolling Stones for Rock heads.

My impressions so far are that Q-tip did his thing with the beats, Consequence killed everything, Busta is okay on a couple but is maybe on too many songs and I wonder why Ali wasn't involved ?

It feels like classic Tribe/Hip Hop without sounding dated and tired as fukk. The rhymes and flows are tight, the production is goddamn ETHEREAL. Its so rare that the OG's are able to deliver both nowadays...

This is a new gold standard, honestly.
