I have every Tribe album and they will be with me until I'm in the ground. I still whip out Low End and Marauders on a weekly basis. To me, they were bigger than the Beatles in terms of cultural impact.

They will always be the greatest, most-underrated hip-hop group of all-time. They were a cooler Run DMC. They are really the blueprint for what a rap group is. Dudes going back and forth on the mic.

RIP Phife. RIP J Dilla. I know they would both be proud.

for me its de la then tribe .. but they're interchangeable... its minor percentage points separating them in my book .. 99.999996 to 99.999995 .. LOL

De La consistency, releasing albums during the past 18 yrs and not breaking up is what puts them ahead
