They just don’t have a player to get them a consistent good look during crunch time. They just start panicking and unsure what to do and against better teams the defensive intensity picks up and that makes it even worse for the warriors. There was a play either late in the 4th or OT where WCS was standing right under the basket wide open for like 5 seconds and no one passed him the ball. :francis:

i dont get the tank part. im sure we are gonna get a top 5 pick regardless of whether or not we won this game.

i really dont want a 1:1 trade. that wouldn't solve the issues we have. we need:

1. an actual big man center. WCS is not starter material at all
2. a good backup PG for steph when he sits. We might be able to move some guards we have to play point
3. some a veteran or two that has experience and can help close games in the 4th quarter

i'd hope we get a three-team deal going. minnesota looks like they wanna play ball. i wonder if any other team is interested.

The only ‘stars’ available to us (that makes sense) are: Drummond, Vucevic, Tobias, and Simmons. From that list, I only want Simmons (don’t think the 6ers would do it).

If we can’t get Simmons, I was thinking something like:

trade WCS, Burcs, GR3 for 2nds/ late firsts

Warriors get: roco, Gordon, okogie
Wolves get: dlo, Evans
Magic get: wolves unprotected ‘20 1st

Draft Anthony Edwards
Dre for the min
Then we Jedi mind trick Marc Gasol to take the MLE


Steph/Bowman
Klay/Edwards/Lee/Poole
RoCo/Dre
Dray/Gordon/Pascall/Spellman
Gasol/Looney/Chriss/Smiley

We would just need to trade okogie + pick(s) from WCS, Burcs, GR3 + poole, lee, or Spellman for a backup 1.

idk if i like Bowman as a backup to Steph

we can take Gasol, but if that doesnt happen i'd rather use the pick to get Wiseman if we can
