Not a weakness per se, but if one group feels that their control is threatened by the actions of another then they'll do anything to destroy it. Why would the exploiting class allow the formerly exploited class to gain equal footing both economically and politically? Many of the positive movements post Civil Rights era have been destroyed or sabotaged. It's funny to see people in this country go on and on about Mandela but you got people like Mumia and Mutulu locked up.
