Don't see any issue with the statement. Why should he be forced to make such a rash decision without even knowing the facts of the situation, especially when, supposedly, financial aid for underprivileged children is at stake?

It's easy for y'all to read an article or two and then post some premature opinion about how you hate Barney's, because your decision isn't going to affect anybody. But if it's true that a good portion of the money would go to the underprivileged, then he should have careful consideration in making his decision.

Who knows who is truly at fault here? Is it the NYPD or Barney's?

I would love to boycott any and all racist institutions if it was feasible but unfortunately its not. But that doesn't mean we should excuse or ignore blatantly racist events.

IMO black peoples number one problem is that we are completely dependent economically on white institutions and/or the government. A guy like Jay Z with business clout, fame and resources could help to begin fixing this problem but he chooses to do the opposite...

You know why black people aren't outraged and aren't making a big deal over Macy's doing the same thing? There's no Jay Z or high profile black person to hate on and tear down, that's why. It was the same thing with Paula Deen. Black people didn't give a fukk about finding out that she was racist. You even had black people come out in support/defense of that broad and her companies when she got exposed. Black people aren't surprised that companies like Barney's racially profile there black customers. We already knew that. Oprah got profiled trying to buy a insanely expensive bag in Switzerland, we know how it goes. It's gotten to the point where we just accept racism from whites and non blacks while we'll tear each other down the second that they reach a certain level of success.

Go down to your local Macy's today and protest, since you're all about boycotting racist insitutions. You dont need Jay Z to do that. There will be a countless black people shopping at your local Macy's today, take your ass down there and chastise them for continuing to support a company who was caught racially profiling a black customer. Just don't sit on your asses complaining about Jay Z, get out here and do something.
