I think the issue is that most blacks stay in the south, and it’s warm here so ponds and lakes don’t freeze over in the winter. We don’t get an opportunity to play hockey unless we go to a ice rink which are often in the white parts of town and they could be expensive. With more black players they will eventually turn to black coaches, gms, scouts, etc, but we don’t get that chance because of geography.

Hockey just doesnt translate well on television. You dont get a feel for how heavy the puck is, and how fast they fire that thing around. You don't appreciate how big and fast they are, and how fukken hard theyre hitting eachother.

Hockey players are tough as nails. It's too bad it looks like the ice capades on television.
