People don’t realize how much a billion dollars is.

You can afford to pay $2000 rent a day for 1,000+ years with $1 billion dollars.

Jeff Bezos’s net worth went from $75 billion to $240 billion in 3 years.

Now they’re talking about giving $4 TRILLION tax cut to a handful of people, from our social security.

Problem is most people have no sense of scale to value how far off they are.
This, and when you start thinking about these analogies you start seeing what a sociopath you have to be to accumulate that much money.

Anyone with a bit of decency would start giving money away long before $100 billion

Yup. Also goes to show how delusional some other sociopaths are when they think they’re on the same level of wealth as these guys and defend them.

You can afford to pay $2000 rent a day for 1,000+ years with $1 billion dollars. Not a month, a day.

Now think how Jeff Bezos’s net worth went from $75 billion to $240 billion in 3 years.

Now they’re talking about giving $4 TRILLION tax cut to a handful of people, from our social security.

Problem is most people have no sense of scale to value how far off they are.

And what does a regressive tax do for lower income and middle class families besides lessen their purchasing power
The same it would do for everyone else. Make it a simple to understand and comprehend. Purchasing power talking points are rage bait. When you can calculate exactly what's what with no surprises a term like purchasing power doesn't even matter because you have an even clearer picture of what you can and can't afford.......as if that stops people anyway

Nah

Edit: Honestly, who would implement that and why? Their most important doners are rich. Look at what happened to the IRS.
