I see why you might think so, but I can't cosign just yet. I mean, it's being married to him that gave her a national profile and got her foot into the White House. I haven't seen anything to convince she could have done that on her own.



I'm sure she does. What good is suffering the humiliation of being cheated on for years, only to walk away a two time loser. And once to Trump of all people. :mjlol: That burns.
She was on the trajectory to being a national figure in politics before she married him. She worked on the Watergate hearings, worked for Sen. Walter Mondale and was on several national political campaigns. She was profiled in Life Magazine and national papers before she graduated from Wellesley for her commencement speech calling out the Republican Senator guest speaker to his face. Right before she married Bill she was working as legal counsel for Congress.

A Hillary Rodham would've probably been elected to the House or Senate in the 1980s or early 90s because all of her moves up to that point were leading to someone entering public office. She put her own ambitions on hold because she married Bill and he wanted to be AG and eventually Governor in Arkansas.
