I like reading those, but often times you can just see their ego and personal feelings get in the way. Like Azumah Nelson doesn’t even mention Pernell Whitaker on any category, or Lennox Lewis saying Razor Ruddock had the best jab. Lewis knocked Ruddock on his ass for throwing a lazy jab.

The funniest one was Pernell Whitaker. Every single category, he just talks about how great he is.
JLC is no different..he only put floyd and lazcano..get out of here lol

pernell was an exception...his was accurate

those 2 could have had the appropriate fight rivalry if they didnt throw them back in the ring only 5 months after that...hell both of them shouldnt have fought for the rest of that year

i said to myself and posted in some places was like both of them would be out of the sport within 3 years of that fight..unfortunately i was right about chico :to:; JLC i should have been right about when I watched him just get beaten up by Sebastian Lujan on FNF in 2008..that was the fight that let me know he was done at the high level..but he still fights:francis:

You could see the drastic decline. With Corrales, you could maybe write off the rematch as him getting caught with a perfect shot (he was always a sucker for left hooks and never had the best chin), but he looked sluggish and slow against Casamayor. The Clottey fight was just sad, and also a tough matchup to begin with.

Castillo was in his 30s and had a lot of fights and wear-and-tear so I suppose he was going to decline anyway, but it was pretty quickly. Maybe also cutting so much weight took a toll on him.
