A real man doesn’t even think about 50/50 cause it’s his job to provide, going 50/50 isn’t masculine or biblical

If you’re married, and can afford for her to stay home, or only work part time, that’s one thing. But supporting a woman you’re not married to is crazy to me.
Yep, bc all ur doing is helping her get by and she can bounce on you at any point when she finds someone else "better"
Now you're out of 10s of thousands of dollars or however much you spent on her.

you're not gonna let her stay home sfter marriage either, You're not a provider, you like to contribute
You're clearly a woman. And "protecting and providing" as you said above, are two different things. If I spend the night at a woman's house and defend/protect from an intruder, that has nothing to do with if I pay her phone bill.

Foolish logic

I agree. Not a Christian, but I would never tell my nieces or my own daughter to submit to any man that can't protect or provide for her. A woman's most vulnerable time is when she's pregnant or when she becomes a mother. And it's safer for her and the offspring to have a protector and a provider.

I make about 2.5 times more than my wife, and I still don’t pay for everything

She makes good money at 70k a year, and see split the bills to mostly about 70/30 and I pay for a lot of the food we eat and she probably does 70% of the housework

It all equals out

You just gotta find whatever works for you as a couple

Why tf are we the only ones who have this conversation?

Relationships are like a business… more so a partnership and everything has a compromise.

This shyt shouldn’t even be worth the thought.

Marriages are for business. That's why you need a license and that's why you sign a contract. And that's why after you die or break that contract you have to give half or most of your assets to your spouse. And that's why a lot of men and women are forgoing marriage. Cause it's not about love. It's about business.

I disagree

If marriages were for love then you wouldn’t even need to have this discussion

One account for bills/household shyt and the rest for yourselves

nikkas making think pieces on this shyt… why are black folks seemingly the only ones stuck on this low vibrational shyt?
