Turnover and training are some of the BIGGEST costs to a company. Many HR people I've talked to confirm this, plus it's common fukkin sense.

On average it takes anywhere from 2500 and up to hire and train just one person. That's why every job has employee retention as a metric for management evaluations.

Shows you that throughout history, majority of companies couldn't care less about worker morale.

If I owned a business, I would want my employees to want to come to work. You do that by not making them feel unappreciated.

If that takes sacraficing some of the bottom line, oh well.
