As a non military black guy who is currently in tokyo and have been all over japan, I can say from experience that we do better in okinawa than tokyo. Yes they love black celebrities in tokyo, but don't think you can just come over here thinking everyone will treat you as such. If you want to be a super rare commodity, you have to go where there is no military or nigerians around like that.

At the end of the day, it breaks down like this.
-Most japanese stick with....japanese (surprises there huh)
-japanese who like americans are called amejo and they are kinda looked down on in tokyo.
-amejos who like white boys are called hakujos
-amejos who like us black men are called kokujos (they are out there, but your best bet in finding them is going to a black night club)

And then on top of that. When it comes to the ones wh do mess with us, some only mess with dark dudes, some only mess with light dudes, some only mess with Jamaicans, etc.

I don't work here. I still stay in georgia (shout out to my neighbor @-DMP-). I just go on vacation here alot cause I got alot of japanese friends (good and underworldly) here and we always turn up out here. I do plan on moving out here sometime though. As a american black man, I don't deal with half of the bullshyt I have to worry about back home. Even the police are mad cool here.

One cool thing about tokyo though. If you're into cars then this is the place to be. Just alone today I saw 2 RR Phantoms, 3 Bentleys, 1 NSX custom, 4 GTRs, 1 Ferrari 458, and a bunch of porches.
