What does another forum have to do with gaming?
NeoGAF at one time, had a lot of developers and insiders posting there amongst the regular people. It was kind of a privilege I suppose to interact with those people. Most gaming sites would get their news from leaks on NeoGAF.
But then NEO-GAF continued to become a hostile environment for all those who refuse to go a long with the hive mind. This drove the insiders and developers away. Some dev's stayed to shirk their duties to become online activist. The main lead on the Halo franchisee? Forgot his title at 343i, spends 90% of his work day on Neo-GAF complaining about trump when he should be figuring out a way to right what is wrong with the Halo franchisee.
End of the day, the site was once the place to be, but now it's a safe space for people who refuse to deal with the realities of life.
Some of the site is mad gay too in various ways. Someone will post something like...
"That reminds me of the third level in Zelda Link to the Past"
And another poster will copy the same thing and pretend that they are on the save wave length on some fake bonding shyt.
If people from the Coli posted there, they would react with phrases like
"Oh my god I'm literally shaking someone cointact a mod"
