You’re mistaking him rotating as a part of predetermined coverage as “solid defense”. Of course he’s not a shot blocker, no one is asking him to be that.

He gave up open looks to Zubac all night, he couldn’t effectively stay in front of ANYBODY on the team, and when he got tired, he started throwing himself on the floor trying to bait a charge.

DJJ, Dunn, and Powell got big baskets because he doesn’t move. He hopes guys miss so he can get a rebound and throw it up the floor,

The Clippers role guys getting wide open baskets are because of the team having to scramble because he can’t move his feet
That’s by design. You want those guys taking shots at the end of the clock not Kawhi or Harden

Jokic is normally playing the screen like this

Final possession

The nba really giving amazon playoff games. Good grief ..

Next year ESPN/ESPN2 should get the monday-thursday tnr slate then nbc gets friday, saturday, and sunday quad headers or abc gets 2 sat games and 2 sun games. 4 nba playoff games on AIR tv would be great
That’s actually not happening

NBC/Peacock and Amazon are getting that Monday, Tuesday and Thursday slates

ESPN on Wednesdays and Fridays

ABC/ESPN on Saturdays and Sundays

NBC on Sundays too

He made alot of strange mistakes tonight.
There were quite a few uncharacteristic mistakes, and then some were down to him playing the entire second half. They should've tried to get him at least 3-4 minutes rest, like the Clips did with Kawhi.

Him going 6-10 on FTs was costly as hell. He has these isolated games where he inexplicably shoots bad from the line.

@FAH1223 was right in that once the Clips slowed down the pace, it took away Denver's ability to get out in transition to start generating runs. Once the Clips were able to play at a pace that suited them, Jamal came back down the other end and started dribbling the air out of the ball and then the Nuggets couldn't get into a rhythm.

They need more Jokic and AG post-ups going forward.

Not sure what to make of this series

If Kawhi’s knees hold up, he’s back to being a top 5 player. The same guy who obliterated Butler, Embiid, Giannis, and Luka in playoff series and was looking to add Booker and KD to the list until the knees gave out. It’s always the knees once we think he’s turned the corner with the knees.

At the same time, even if he sustains it, Jokic can be just as unstoppable and DEN still has some clear advantages on the boards. Series gonna be ridiculous

HE DIDN'T OBLITERATE LUKA
IN ANY SERIES
THEY BOTH WENT CRAZY
AND HE HAD THE BETTER TEAMS

Could count that year they went to west finals but he got hurt in semi for the Utah game everyone felt that year they would of won the chip against bucks

That year was looking like his magnus opus

Dog-walked Luka and the Mavs in games 6 and 7, and was killing Utah through the first 4 games, with the only teams left being an in-over-their-heads PHX… and a Bucks squad that was suffering from stage fright all playoffs.

it’s why you can’t even get too hyped about what KL is doing now because until we see him actually capable of playing in a conference finals, this is par the course before another injury. Gotta hope this run is different despite what the last 5 years tells us.
