Aight, I still believe it was larger than a soccer ball tho.

Do you remember when that one exploded over russia? That’s a good one to use for reference. luckily friction ripped that one apart high up in the air and all that kinetic energy created a huge blast. That busted everybody’s windows and knocked shyt over. There was one similar in size that actually impacted in Siberia in 1908 and destroyed a big ass forest and left a big ass crater.

That one was about 130 ft long. Apparently we(earth) get hit a lot and the ones that actually impact the ground are similar to the Nigerian one and they’re usually softball to soccerball sized.

One hits that’s big enough to raise the sea level, we all dead; even if we’re in Kansas.
:mjcry:
nothing can raise the sea level that much, kansas is in the middle of the country, done research on this, ocean is too deep, itll absorb almost anything thrown at it, unless of course it's moon sized, which then the earth shatters and no longer exists.

I was always taught that the debris, thermogenic energy, and soot would be what wiped us out. Preciate the update, I’ll look into that too.

That was a small one. it’s the kinetic energy release from the friction or impact that does all the damage. If it was the size of a bus or something it would have done a lot more.
THIS

Plus, "dirt" is really fragile. Doesn't take much to just blow it out the way
